In Brittany there is a big difference between high and low tide. Especially the low tide inspires me again and again to paint it. I choose the watercolor technique with the purpose to paint reality kept to a minimum. To ensure that the narrow strreep with the people on the mudflat attract attention, I deliberately made the horizon in the middle.
