forest in autumn
In this series I make acrylic paintings. This subject inspires me because the forest can look different in the fall due to different circumstances. I try to represent reality as closely as possible by using paint and pastas together. I apply this to the canvas with a brush or palette knife.

autumn forest reflected in water
2020I painted this painting by heart, inspired by photos that my husband Eric Das took during our forest walks. I wanted to make the painting exciting because of two aspects. Firstly the reflection in the water and secondly by letting the water turn around the corner. I also paid attention to depth and perspective. I tried to show this in the different techniques (whether or not pasta) and the different materials (which pasta do I use and I apply with a brush or with a palette knife).
